Volkano takes pride in providing our customers with high-quality products designed to last, backed by hassle-free customer service. If you are dissatisfied with your Volkano product, please review the details of our limited warranty below.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

The warranty on your Volkano™ purchase covers defects in material, components, and workmanship for the warranty period starting from the purchase date. All products sold by Volkano or authorized resellers are covered by this limited warranty.

Warranty queries for purchases made through authorized retailers and eCommerce sellers are handled by the platform of purchase. For additional assistance, please email us at info@volkano.com.

For quality-related claims, items will be replaced with a new or equivalent item. If replacement is not possible, Volkano may offer a full or partial refund based on the device’s usage. Replacements carry the longer of the original warranty period or 3 months from replacement. Products fully refunded are no longer covered by warranty.

How to Claim Your Warranty

If your Volkano™ product is defective or incorrect, claim your warranty through the retailer where you purchased it. Volkano™ or its retailers will either replace the product or provide a return shipping label for a refund (restrictions may apply).

Claims from Authorized Retailers and eCommerce Platforms

If you’re dissatisfied with your purchase from an authorized retailer or eCommerce platform, you may return or request a refund according to that retailer’s policies. Products must be returned to the specific merchant where purchased.

Warranty Timeline

  • Volkano Electronics: 12 Months
  • Volkano Backpacks: 24 Months

Warranty Limitations

  • Products must be returned in original condition, including packaging, documentation, manuals, and accessories.
  • Unopened goods returned within 30 days may qualify for guaranteed shipping return (varies by retailer policy).
  • Some hardware and all custom/special orders may only be credited, not refunded.
  • Returns may be shipped at the customer’s expense (depending on retailer policy).
  • Consumables are non-refundable.
  • A 20% handling fee applies to goods returned without original packaging, within 30 days of receipt.
  • Items missing components (box, accessories, etc.) will not receive credit.
  • Non-factory defects are not eligible for refund or replacement.

Not Covered by Volkano™ Limited Warranty

  • Products without proof of purchase
  • Items beyond the warranty period
  • Issues not related to product quality
  • Damage from misuse (e.g., dropping, water damage)
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers

Product Returns Process

  • Provide valid proof of purchase
  • Include order number (for online purchases)
  • Sales invoice or dated sales receipt from an authorized reseller
  • Proof of defect (e.g., photograph)
  • Product code (SKU/EAN) and defect details
  • Item must be returned to the retailer or platform for inspection

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs must be covered by the buyer in the following scenarios:

  • Returns where no defect is proven
  • Returns outside of the warranty period (may vary by reseller)
  • Accidental returns
  • Returning fully functional items
